L'Aquarium, Valencia, Spain

As strange as it may seem, a 3 year old (and I) can easily get bored at the beach. Which is why we didn't spend all week there (though someone I know would easily do so).

To break up the week, we spent one day in Valencia. Or more correctly; we spent one day at the Aquarium in Valencia.

It is easily one of the more impressive aquariums I have ever been to, and we soon lost track of time. Until a certain 3 year old clearly got "overloaded" on impressions, and very low on blood-sugar. Then we all felt tired, and ready for something to eat.

As it was already "late", we didn't have time to go looking for a good place to eat in Valencia, but decided to try out one of the restaurants in the aquarium.

It sure wasn't cheap, but it was worth the visit. The food was great, and the scenery was awesome. The restaurant was surrounded by a giant fish tank, it was breathtaking.

The service was probably a bit slow for the 3-year old, but with all the fishes to look at, he soon forgot all about it.
