Bergen is a city on the western coast of Norway, with the North Sea / The Atlantic ocean as our closest "Neighbor" on the west side and a wall of mountains on the east side.
Since we're positioned almost at the end of the gulf-stream, and get hit by every pressure center (usually low pressure) which would ride the stream. We usually have a lot of wet weather going on.
We also have days with a very unstable weather situation, like last Thursday. We went out on the photo-walk with the setting sun in our eyes, and got surprised by a major down-pour.
Trying to dodge the worst of the rain, and not giving it up all together proved to be a good thing. Just look at these shots; The tall building on the left has the threatening clouds above, but the facade is covered in sunlight. The reflection of the blue sky in the windows, really added depth to the shot.

On the shot to the right, I managed to capture a brief pocket of sunlight as it passed us by. I usually don't notice these awesome moments when I hurry to and from wherever I'm headed. A good thing then; I was able to capture it on camera when I did.
