Almost a week after the previous post, there was still no real sign of spring here in Bergen. The day temperature is still somewhere between 5-8C (at the highest). But yesterday something really changed. As the wind shifted direction in the middle of the day, we went from 6C to 17C in just a few hours. It was absolutely wonderful, and mother nature responded instantly.

When we got home from work, the air was buzzing with busy bees and other insects. The birds had turned up their volume, and just outside our door I found this butterfly enjoying our flower. It didn't like being pointed at with a big lens, and did not give me much time to adjust my settings. But I did manage to get a few decent shots before it took off, into the neighbor's garden.

I also experienced a few limitations in my shooting skills, which I will have to practice in the near future :)
