From time to time, taking a great picture is almost all about luck. At least that's what I had a few nights ago.
It had nothing to do with planning or great equipment. I was in my kitchen, making dinner, when I looked out the window.
That's when I saw this beautiful sunset. it took a couple of seconds to realize we also had a glimpse of a brand new moon as well.
I don't think I have seen this combination before. Maybe because it's been cloudy on previous occasions, it doesn't happen that often, or I just haven't been at the right place at the right time before. Or I just happened to have a bit of luck.
Twitter and Facebook followers might have seen me post a similar photo earlier this week, but that was taken with my iPhone. These shots were taken with a proper camera.
