The weather was as expected for the season, and quite treacherous. It could be nice and sunny one moment, and a few minutes later you could not see more then a few meters in front of you. A good thing we stayed close to camp, and only followed guided routes.
I was worried for a while, that I had brought my camera for naught. Because I did not have time for fun during daylight, and it was very dark at night.
But just as quick as the weather changed during the day, it changed all of a sudden during the night. And what a night. I was given the opportunity to take these photos in bright full moon (or almost full), and there is no other light source than the moon or from the station/hotel down below.
I realize the photos might seem a bit dark on some screens, but at my desk, they are beautiful.
(Ps; I was not able to locate Echo-base, but found evidence of it's existence documented in the basement of 1222)
