It's May, and I'm told this moon was going to be best moon for a while. I looked at the weather-forecast and was a bit dismayed at all the clouds depicted in the evening and night time sky.
But dismay was soon turned to eagerness and joy when I took a glance at the sky just before bedtime last night. There it was, looking right down at me, through a few holes in the clouds. it did not take many seconds to dig out the camera and lens required for this session.
The moon did not disappoint (as you might see), and it was so low on the horizon I got to try taking a few shots through the garden bushes.
The session delayed my bedtime for 30-45 minutes, and I was rather tired when Jr. came in this morning, proclaiming "Morning is here dad! time to get up!". Looking at the results i found the tiredness a small price to pay :)
