Here's a third, and for now final, post from the short trip to Oslo's Opera House.
As i walked across from the railway station, I could not just walk passed the bridge and not notice the really awesome framework created by the architect.
At first glance (without any sun) I didn't make much more off it, than a lot of steel, placed there for our convenience. But then a cloud moved away, and the sun hit the bridge and really transformed the structure.
With the bright light coming in from the sides, the shadows it cast really created a depth to the structure I did not see before. It didn't last long, because the sun went behind a cloud and my time was up.
It seems I was lucky as I had my few minutes in the sun, as there were very few pedestrians in the way of my shot. And although people can create another dimension to a picture, they can just as easily ruin the entire scene. Just take a look at a few of the other shots at the photo site, and you can compare; With or without the sun. With or without people walking by.
