I guess it's that time of the year. The snow is gone, the days are getting longer, the sun rises higher in the sky, the trees and the grass is slowly turning green..... and the photographers are cleaning their lenses and crawling in the grass to capture it all.
Well, at least I was this weekend. Sunday was wonderful. We threw away the winter jackets and went for a slow walk in the sun, enjoying our first real taste of warm sun-rays upon our faces.
It seems we humans are not the only ones longing for longer days and warmer air. The air was "thick" with the sounds of birds, bees and other insects being really busy with whatever they do in the spring.
Previous years, I've been very early with my flower shots, but this year my garden is a big black "hole of reconstruction". And I had not noticed they had come this far. Thanks to my neighbor who let me spend some time in her garden :)
