Winter caught us by surprise this year. And when I say "us", I mean even nature itself. The trees still had their autumn coat on when the snow hit us.
Within a few hours the temperature dropped 10 centigrades from +7 to -3. Everything turned white, and it was hazardous to move around (everything was icy).
Fortunately for us, this was but a warning. A couple of days later the white gave way to the autumn coat of the trees again. And as the leaves keep falling, they now create a great display on top of the snow. A perfect setup for a photo-shoot or two. These leaves are all shot as they were when I found them on the lawn in my garden. The snow created a perfect background to enhance the features of the leaves.
