Autumn colors

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug
That's it, I declare summer for over, and Autumn for "officially" started. The nights are cooler, and the days are getting shorter.

Everywhere I look, the color green is fading, being replaced by colors of autumn; brown, red, yellow and orange. It's all beautiful in it's own way. And I thought I'ld share a few shots I took in the garden, Sunday.Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

But even though Autumn is here, there are still flowers and plants making the best of what's left of daylight and sunrays.

Take the purple flower on the left here. I found a bunch of them in my neighbor's flowerbed. The yellow roses I have talked so often about, and taken many photos of, are still producing new flowers, next to the dying ones. The climbing roses however, have sung their final song and was cut down and removed shortly after I took a picture of the dead rose. But even the dead flowers have beauty in them (or so I think).
