Or rather: In the air again. The challenge of our family is how far apart we live. It does not stop us from seeing each other, but we do not always see each other as often as we would like. After a few busy days with Aunty in Los Angeles we hit the road (air) again, and took a 5 hour flight to Boston. To spare Sebastian and us from getting to tired, we spent the night in Boston before driving to Calais, Maine to stay at Morfar and Nanny's place.
Morfar greeted us in Bangor, and boy was he happy to see his grandson (and the rest of us too :). The trip from L.A. to Calais was long (even when devided into two legs) and "booring". But booring is good. It is just another word for: Nothing really happened on the way.
Sebastian did really well on both the flight and the car trip. He seemed more at ease this time, and did not make a lot of fuss. Even the time-zone change (3 hours) doesn't seem to bother him too much. He slept for 12 hours last night, and is not too tired today. You can tell he isn't quite comfortable about his new surroundings yet, and he wants to hold on to mom or dad most of the time. But give it a few days, and he'll feel just like home (just like at aunty Nina's). We're spending the first day at home for him to get to know the house and his room.
