I've been in Oslo several times after the Opera house was completed. But, I have either not brought the camera with me, or not had the time to go off on a photo walk in the area, or been out of luck with the weather or lighting conditions.
This weekend however, I spent a night at the Opera hotel (had "business" to do in town). Know I was going to be nearby, I took one look at the weather forecast and decided to bring the camera. Thus sacrificing the comfort of traveling "light" with just the carry-on bag.
The forecast was correct, and I managed to head down to the opera house for half an hour. And these are the results :)
I must admit I was never a big fan of spending all those money on an opera house, but the end result is great. Now the rest of the neighborhood needs a face-lift to match the centerpiece :)
