If you're following me on Twitter or Facebook, you might have seen me publishing shots from the photo-walk already. I haven't published them all until now, as I wanted to group the images into fitting categories.
This first post is dedicated to buildings. Buildings aren't hard to find when the photo-walk is down town, but finding buildings as good subjects (resulting in good shots) proved to be a bit harder.
I found it difficult to meter the sky vs. building correct in the beginning. And it's only thanks to Light Room 3.3 I have these shots for you here.
Here is a short description of the four shots in this post:
- The main feature is just a regular apartment building in an area callend Møhlenpris in Bergen. It didn't have any appealing colours, but I liked the shot, looking up, really well in B&W.
- The church in the second shot is Johanneskirken at Nygårdshøyden. Unmissable if you've ever been to Bergen. This shot is also my contribution to this week's sky watchers at Skyley :)
- The third shot was just taken on a whim, but proved to be a fun shot after all. It's a close-up of the foundations for another apartment building.
- The final shot is of a stairway leading up to a bridge across Puddefjorden.
Thanks for visiting, and be back soon for more from the photo-walk. I will be back with updates soon :)
