Life was so much easier when there was no kids in the house. If we had a rainy day or weekend, we could "opt out of life" and stay at home, doing nothing. Put on a good/bad move, and slumber in the couch.
Well; A two year old will not abide by such terms. He is constantly on the move, and has to do "something". We try to teach him how to play on his own, but you can only expect so much of a kid his age.
Saturday was an easy one as we had shopping to do. Sunday however, was not quite as obvious.
We decided to make use of some free tickets to the Aquarium (won in a contest earlier this year), and headed downtown. It was an instant hit with Jr. You just can't go wrong with the Aquarium and kids. There are penguins, seals, sharks, spiders, snakes, alligators, monkey and fish (to mention a few) at the Aquarium (Akvariet).
We spent the entire afternoon there, and when we got home, we swapped Cars for Nemo as the evening entertainment before bedtime.
