A crying child...

It’s been a really busy week. Sebastian is not sleeping enough, and is showing signs of colic-like symptoms. We’re trying to sleep in turns while the other tries to comfort Sebastian. Colic is not uncommon in Western Europe and in USA, and about 1 out of 5 infants have symptoms of colic (though it is very rare in Asia). It is really hard to watch your baby have such pains, and we are trying every advice we come by. Yesterday we tried to take Sebastian to a chiropractor. This was his second visit, and it is still too soon to tell if the treatment helps. But we were warned Sebastian could get worse, before he’ll get better. And yesterday things really turned to the worse. But, he slept more this night than he has the last two weeks, and we’re really hoping this is a sign of the treatment taking effect. If nothing helps, colic is said to last until the age of 3-3,5 months (just 2 more to go for the poor child).

Due to Sebastian’s condition I haven’t been able to post as much as I want to, nor take and post more photos. But be patient, more will come. (please .com back later ;)

Well, at least Mormor is coming this week-end, to help us out a bit. She is staying from Wednesday to Sunday. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll give mom a full 6 hour sleep….
